Seriously, if you are stuck on a cruise ship that isn't sure where it is heading, are you going to waste your time bemoaning the lack of direction or enjoy the pools and the buffet even if it isn't as good as it was in the past?
Maybe I've gotten used to mediocrity (or worse) over the past 2 seasons, but there was a lot to enjoy in Saturday's game. For one, the defense against Rypien. The BSU QB had only 214 passing yards. It is only the second time all season that he threw for less than 299
It was also only the 3rd game in which he threw an interception.
It is only his 2nd game with fewer than 2 Tds
It is only the second time he had a QBR under 70 (vs BYU it was 35).
Admittedly there were plenty of painful parts, but that is all the more reason to allow ones self enjoy the good ones.
