My uncle found an early 70s Benz for a steal. I believe it was a 108, he suggested my dad get it for my sister
who was just graduating.
I told him I'd help maintain it (I was at BYU and she was coming up to Provo for Dental Assistant School), but he opted for the "reliable" route and got an Altima instead (that failed a short time later). That Benz is probably still going strong...
