The offense is improving. (Boise State had a good defense.)
The BYU defense is playing well. I'm curious to see how they do against a pretty good UMass offense.


That being said BYU needs to beat UMass and NMSU. This Saturday's game should be the tougher test of the two. (as it looks on paper.) (UMass isn't so hot on defense so our offense needs to take advantage)

Win those two and you're bowl eligible with a shot at beating the Utes. Hope the Cougs are up to it because bowl eligibility next year may not come as easily.

The roller coaster ride needs to level off. Consistency shouldn't be as big of an issue this late in the season. (Even the youngsters now have valuable experience.) With 2 good performances against UMass and NMSU, maybe I'll feel better about a possible upset of the Utes.

I kind of hate the idea of a brand new coaching staff in 2019, starting all over. New coaches, new schemes, trying to beat Utah, Tennessee, USC, Washington, Toledo, USF, Boise State, Utah State, SDSU. I still think there's hope for our 2018 team and coaches at this point. Let's see how this season unfolds.
