Why should either of those things matter?
Why should mormons like a band just because people in the band are mormon?
Why should mormons NOT like a band if their members grew up mormon but now "don't identify" as mormon?
It's such a tribal line of thought, and I do realize that some of these bands that come our of the Provo music scene are significantly helped on the way up by having a lot of fans around the country that jump on the wagon simply because they are a mormon band.
