I spent four days in the hospital due to a blood clot in my big toe while the staff tried to kill me. They insisted it must be a heart issue, despite my having the Factor V blood clotting disorder and all the heart related tests not finding anything.
Banner Baywood Heart Hospital, in Mesa, added thousands in false charges that they refused to remove.
After a 2 yr battle they did an internal audit and removed $5k in individual charges ( only a fraction of the bogus charges) which then curiously raised the bill by $9k. When they couldn't explain how they managed that little fuzzy math trick, I ceased payments and told them to take me to court. I had a long paper trail of my dealings with them.
They tried to ding my credit, but I won the credit dispute. All this happened 14 years ago.
