Something else funny I remembered. I spoke to the HPG on the last Sunday of the month (Dec 31). We had people that wrote checks that day for the next year (I am the ward financial clerk). There were at least six five digit tithing payments on the last day of December. Some may have been for that year, but my guess is that all of them were double pays. All of them were cash.
