I saw TJ at Pacific up close and said the exact same thing. He is a skinny RUNT compared to most guys on the floor. Those pacific guards were physically superior to TJ and, at least in that game, were throwing him around a bit as they drove hard to the rim every possession. That said, TJ's bball skills are superior that most anybody he plays against, which is a testament to his work ethic and drive. He really is a great player with a great feel for the game.
But his lake of physical size ain't the reason his shots aren't fallin'. I mean Steph Curry ain't no physical speciman either but his lateral quickness and quick shot neutralize the size disadvantage he has.
So bottom line, TJ might not be an NBAer in waiting but he's going to continue to be a great Coug and I suspect his shots will start to fall in greater numbers soon.
