The only reason I'd be even a little bit concerned with your friend's experience is if 1) you are having the exact same surgery she had and 2) her surgery was very recent. Also, if you go to a reputable review site and this doctor has a lot of negative reviews. Otherwise, I wouldn't be concerned.
