was spoken of. Allen already has more game time so people are getting a jump on projections into the future. Not just what he does at Wyoming, but how he projects overall. Size, arm, understanding of a certain offense. I don't know that it will scream #1 in the end, because very few scream that. But certain things really give guys a big boost in the draft, and they'll do the same for him. You have guys who didn't do a lot in college as mid round draft picks because of their system and measurables. You have a guy like Josh Dobbs go higher because of how smart he is and how quickly he was able to understand the complex parts of a pro offense, despite not playing one in college. So if Allen has 3rd or 2nd round stats, all of the other factors boost him into the first.
