It wasn't all about him though. You can say it both ways. The supporting cast made it easier for him just as much as he made it easier for them. He had two TEs who were drafted. He had a 1000 yd receiver in Mahe. Doman was huge running threat as well and a good passer. It's not like it was just the Staley show out there. Everything worked. And that's not taking away from him at all. They took advantage of it. I don't think I can say the system was Staley, because it wasn't going to be such without those other key pieces.
Jamaal last year was on a different level though, as a RB between the tackles. His game was so advanced. It's not as exciting for most fans, as watching huge untouched runs around the outside, but if you understand the intricacies of Jamaal's game inside and how he did what he did, it's amazing. The little things he developed which paved the way for him to get the yards he did. Nobody else comes close to that IMO. Both were exciting in their own way.
