He was really good but was a freshman and got stuck on a varsity high school team so wasn't getting any PT. He switched to my team (made up of all the leftovers).
I camped as a QB, but wasn't getting playing time for our team in 7 on 7. Our coach put me in at FS against some Salt Lake high school team that kept burning us over the top. I ended the game with three interceptions (one for a TD) at FS and the game winning TD pass to my roommate. It was the highlight of camp for both of us, but the other guys are right, the drills are what matter most.
If you go back try to get a team together with a coach and your son can make his own playing time if that matters a lot.
