BlueTooth All-American
I got caught once. I was blissfully unaware it was a closed book test and had my
Books and notes all spread open. It was a summer CS class back in the early 90s. For some reason I was absolutely certain the professor had said it would be open book.
I don't recall even looking at the test but it seems like there was something on it to tell you if it was open or closed book. Whatever, I knew it was open so I guess I didn't look at it.
I got a tap on my shoulder from the proctor dude who told me i was taking a closed book test. I think I actually laughed out loud a little bit, just before I got sick and realized he was right.
I had to schedule a talk with the professor but I couldn't wait so I went rightnover to his office and plead my case. He laughed and said no big deal. I'm sure I was the wrong shade of green and I think he sort of realized I was just an idiot. So he let me go with no problems. I was able to retake the test in the testing center. I hated that place.
