If the runway happens to be asphalt it will buckle under the heat and stress of
plane landing...causes divots in the asphalt and ruins the runway. However, I thought most of them at Sky Harbor had been replace with concrete.

PHX was 106 on May 4th this year. May freakin' 4th. How's that "only 3 months of heat" working for you?

Yeah, It's pretty awful heat. But wouldn't you say that flights cancelled for icy conditions in winter

My sister and her husband do a scorpion hunt every night around their yard. They got 15 last night. That's about average
