It's all my wife gets for birthday parties anymore. I have never seen guys go

into a cupcake store by themselves and order a single cupcake for themselves. I do not know exactly why cupcakes are so naturally suited to the fairer sex's tastes, but it seems that's the way it is, and every birthday is loaded with cupcakes. Bigger messes than cake in my view.

They are average, agreed.
