They're going after a ton of offensive talent for the future. They're going after the right kind of OL, TEs, long and/or fast WRs. They just landed a speedy RB.
Considering they didn't get to really do what they wanted with the offense last year because of the personnel, I think they're clearly making it a point to get "their guys" in the system. They want a new boost of talent and they're reaching for it. There's still going to be a huge emphasis on D, but that will partly be because building a crazy strong front 7 shouldn't be hard at all for BYU... Ever.
But for both O and D, they're just going after the athletes, and will plug them in.
And the O is different with Ty. They clearly have a vision for it. They have an identity in mind. This isn't like Utah.
