Has she had any blood work done?
Might want to rule out any autoimmune disorders as part of the workup. (Ask for a CBC, ESR, CRP, ANA, RF, etc.) not as likely as something orthopedic, but at this stage it could help narrow the differential a bit.

She's had blood work done. Only anomaly is very slightly low Vit D.
