I am sure that Bowlsby, Boren and others are aware of the BYU's tradition and football record against Big 12, former Big 12 and other P5 schools. They have in recent years beaten OU, UTex, UHOU, UCinn, UConn, NEB, had close games they should have won against Missouri, and UCLA, etc.

Its about Money and Politics when comes down to it.

Suggest the focus is toward the up coming season, The new coaching staff, new and incoming players. I for one see this team struggling in some areas because there is a needed transition period and there may not be the exact experienced and skilled personnel needed(Tight End). I think the Scheme's and philosophies of the new coaching staff are great. I think the defense will be great but if the O-line is not assignment sound Detmer's crew may struggle a bit.
