you would leave and you are happy to do it. Those "mediocre 8-5 seasons" which were the floor would make many P5 programs happy if they were the ceiling.

Bronco is worth $3M a year. Stake may or may not be worth that someday. He is not worth anywhere near that right now. BYU fans love him, but the majority would be dancing in the streets for another 8-5 this year.

BYU has only had 2 good coaches in its entire history. Ironically a highly vocal minority turned on both of them at the end of their time here even though both worked for a fraction of their market value. Boh of them areally the only reason that BYU became thought of as P5 worthy.

Maybe Sitake will become the 3rd. Maybe not. I live out of state, but I did renew my 4 season tickets again this year - looking forward to seeing the new, unproven, coaches show what they can do.
