I think we'll do better recruiting across the board based on the whole coaching staff. I also think Coach Sitake won't shy away from recruiting battles.
My argument boils down to the opinion that I don't think it's a miss or a failure if there's a high profile player who chooses another school over BYU regardless of their race or religion. It puts too much pressure on the coaching staff to think expect them to land every prospect. Having friends and family talk up BYU to recruits is good and helps the school and team land good players but I'll always root for guys like Manti Te'o, Xavier Su'a-Filo, Haloti Ngata, and Sealver Siliga who had ties to BYU or grew up nearby but ended up choosing another school over BYU...I didn't get to watch them play much in college because I don't follow their teams but I still take pride in their success.
