Even though Stanford is not in a college football hotbed, the Bay Area, and has a 16 billion dollar endowment, I am sure they appreciate the exposure that Christian McCafrey brought them, or heck even John Elway in the Super Bowl down the street in Santa Clara twenty something years later.
