You could make a zip line for $150
You buy the trolley on Amazon... About $60.
Then 1/4 inch steel cable from home Depot, also the cable hook hardware, and some heavy car tie downs to attach it to the trees.
It's pretty easy.

Does anyone know where I could rent things like a mobile zip line?

I don't think they have zip lines, but Plan-it Rentals is the best place for

You don't happen to have a son that is going back to school, so he can take over

I'm assuming if you rent it, the company assumes some liability?

I'm not sure our insurance would allow that
