Well, Schumacher could have pulled Pollard when Kamiakin was head, and possibly kept the lead with better free throw shooters. IIRC, Kentridge beat Kamiakin by playing a four-corners offense, and fouling Pollard a lot. He would miss the free throws, and they would slowly build a lead. We had a great team for the year before Pollard, and the year with him. We were dominating everyone we played in WA, until the state tourney.
