I make them wear a helmet and have a flag
It's a lot cheaper than a trip to the ER.
I had a serious head injury when I was 18 because I wasn't wearing a helmet while snowboarding. Now I wear a helmet every time I get on a bike, motorcycle, atv, snowboard, etc.
