I did not say recruiting got worse. I said recruiting has not gotten noticeably better or worse.

This is how you will be able to tell when it gets appreciably better or worse. The national rankings of our recruiting classes will move appreciably away from the median of D1.

Let me help you understand what a low level position is vs an impactfull one is.

Impactful:

Head Coach. They make over $2.5M in programs comparable to BYU although BYU pays less.

OC. They make $350- 500K at comparable programs.

Position Coach. They make $100-300K at comparable programs.

Athletic Director. Varies. $500K would not be a bad guess.

Martzen. Was an low or maybe unpaid intern prior to arrival. He probably makes under $40K.

He is probably doing a great job.
