It doesn't really matter who swung first. You got into a brawl so you are guilty. Those who lie in the mud get up dirty (or something like that). The fact this happened at all is the worst part. There is a big difference between pulling guys off your teammate and launching haymakers into a melee.
Anyone who defends any part of this contributes to the problem.
It's a black eye on the players, team, university, and church. No way you can get around it. I'm sure Bronco will hear the same sentiment.
It's time to dig down deep and decide how far BYU wants to play this game. Get in all the way and darn the torpedoes, or get out of the business all together.
