I think it cost them the national Championship. Tyler Heap was much better setter but Chris stayed with him due to loyalty and experience. When he would be down 2-0 he would put Ty in and a couple of times they came back. Against Irvine their luck ran against them.
I think Ty was more athletic and could disguise his sets more. I actually spent some time with a volleyball player last month and we talked about it. He agreed but reluctant to do so and I think he just didn't want to question his coach or put down Ryan. I would be the last person to question Shawn's decisions as a coach. The man is a genius
