This is a popular theme in this thread and I don't totally disagree.

We are a rare culture, and that culture doesn't currently (or ever) allow for the maximum college football experience. What I think this guy is getting at is that that is fine as long as fans are willing to accept that as reality and cease to compare BYU to the CFB elite. Is BYU P-5 quality? I think so, but to some outsiders BYU is like the super hot chick with daddy issues.
