I believe his assignment changed, but I wouldn't argue that changed his NFL

prospects. The NFL is looking for athletes with specific body types. Jan lacked the size for DE and the speed for OLB. He did well in a particular system with the right talent around him, but unless he were much faster or much taller and heavier he was never going to make it in the NFL.
