The bottom line is this: If you believe Peterson was a well-intentioned parent who just went too far, then you will (understandably) cut Peterson some slack. This seems to be the position of you and your beloved majority. But if you believe Peterson likely has anger problems and has a pattern of taking his anger out on his defenseless children, then you have a harder time not being outraged. I fall into this latter category.
Maybe my assessment is premature and unfair. Maybe yours is naive and gullible. Time will tell.
