I strongly believe that we would still be in the MWC if the league had allowed us complete TV freedom, but (this is the entire point of the thread) it was the pride of MWC members and officials - and not BYU's pride, as the Aggie intern insinuated - that prevented BYU from maximizing its TV potential as an MWC school. If MWC officials truly had been looking out for the interests of its members, then they would have contested Comcast's denial of BYUtv broadcasts and replays. Instead, they did NOTHING and figuratively smirked while BYU suffered, so we left.
Has their prideful attitude towards BYU changed since then? That's extremely doubtful, so this rejoining concept is a non-starting, moot issue.
