probably so, but one happens in a matter of years, can be clinically tested
with blind studies and control groups, and have the results observable shortly thereafter.

The other relies on derived data from thousands of years ago, a small amount of current data, and data extrapolated into the future which have been pretty inaccurate in the last decade or so.

So maybe it's difficult to diagnose autism, or where a child falls on the spectrum. But it's much easier and verifiable than climate modeling.
