Michael Savage's real name is Dr. Michael Alan Weiner, Ph.D. Dr. Savage was born March 31, 1942. He was born in America but his parents were immigrants. He grew up in a Russian Jewish family. He grew up poor in Queens. His family was so poor, that they could not afford pants for him. His dad would bring back 'dead man's pants' from the morgue, and present them to young Michael as if they were good pants; this disgusted Michael.
