So, I'm not much of follower of U of Utah basketball, but this coming offseason is interesting for them since they canned a solid and improving coach for Alex Jensen. They are in the Big 12 and the pressure to get better has got to be heavy.
So, with Coach Jensen coming in, an LDS coach with NBA experience and a reputation for being from the Majerus school of coaching with respect to hard work and grit, you would think that he'd want to hit the recruiting issue really hard. And, if you want to build the Utah program, you'd want to start by re-recruiting the solid recruits that you already have in the program with Utah now. Especially, local kids or kids with ties to the state or program. But . . . if I'm reading things right . . .

Maybe more. Is it just the phenomenon of new coach, so player automatically tests the waters in the portal? I guess you're seeing this at a bunch of schools with new coaches coming in. But, I'd make it a priority to re-recruit those guys - so you can at least have a team on the floor for next season.
Since I don't follow them closely, what is happening up there?
