Were three point defense, free throw shooting and the freshmen turnovers.

In this game these things did rear their head.

The three point defense turned out to be a spectacular issue. That was an all time embarrassing 3 point defense performance. We can say they were hot like our defense had nothing to do with it… but we have to take some responsibility for what happened. Why has it not happened to anyone else in history? It was something I noticed from the beginning of the year. We just give up open good looks from 3. Really killed us.


Our free throw shooting cost us games early in the year… but it actually started winning us some games late in the year. It was a non factor in this game but I noticed Alabama just never missed free throws and it always closed the door on our comeback attempts.

Turnovers were an issue in this game. There were key moments where we tried lob passes that were careless.
