Had a fever. Took lots of ibuprofen. Fever gone. My esophagus is killing me.
Mainly right below where my ribs meet in the middle. Not typical heartburn that’s higher up and more discomfort than actual pain.

My theory is I took the ibuprofen on too empty of a stomach and jacked up my stomach.

Had an e-visit with doctor and he prescribed me pantoprazole (Proton-pump inhibitor). Side effects are kinda scary. Wondering if I let it ride a few days and see if it heals on its own.

The fever was over the weekend fyi

Any advice from CB healthcare professionals appreciated.
