I just got out of meeting where we made some significant progress on a very good and long-term deal. It was one of those meetings that can provide a "high" that can last for months as you work through projects.
Immediately after I meet with a co-worker who did not attend the meetings and has had very little to do with the planning and foundational work. He immediately told me all the things that he would have done, why he did not like the project, etc. It didn't crush me but I realized how quickly I can crush my kids goals, or ideas without listening and seeing their progress.
Finding a way to uplift and encourage is my goal this next week.
