1. Hard salary cap, no flex on this like they have now.
2. No max contracts, a team can pay a player what they agree to.
3. You can cut players and not have to keep paying them, no garanteed contracts
4. The draft becomes auction draft, just like with fantasy football auction drafts, a players name is presented all the teams bid and the player goes to the highest bidder.
No incentive to tank, if you have a bad deal on your books you cut the player and then you have room under the cap to use in the upcoming draft, players play hard and don’t want to sit out cuz they don’t want to get cut.
