The majority of national writers predict Alabama and threat makes sense as they are a 2 seed. But one thing that seems to be missing in most of them is how the teams have performed over the last 10-15 games. They use metrics and stats over the who year, which really underestimates BYU as they have played much better the last 10-15 games and Alabama played much better during the early part of the year.
In short, I think this is a toss up. Even tho the metrics think Alabama is favored.
