This year makes a strong argument against tourney expansion. UNC, Texas, WVU,
BSU, tOSU, Indiana, et al didn’t deserve to be in the big dance. But, because there are 68 spots to fill, some got their ticket punched.
We don’t need any more than 68. For the sake of the integrity of the sport and its prized MM tournament, leave it the way it is.
It’s clear that logos matter. Yormark is not thinking clearly. When they expand the darn thing to 76 or whatever number they decide on, the committee will just backfill the tourney with Big Ten and SEC logos.
