Down 25 pounds in 9 weeks. It's been pretty awesome.
Background, as far as they can tell I'm a type 1 diabetic. My blood sugar has been hard to deal with. My endocrinologist tried a variety of treatments, but nothing was truly working even with diet and exercise. Finally he put me on Mounjaro, which I wasn't too excited about. I've heard about too many people losing a ton of muscle mass and I didn't want that. So we came up with a plan. Continue try to limit carbs to under 100 a day unless my blood sugar crashes (which has happened a few times), do strength training at least four times a week, and Eat at least .8 grams of protein for every kilo of weight I have.

I had my body fat percentage checked before I started and again a couple of days ago. So far I've put on one pound of lean body mass and dropped 26 pounds of fat. My A1C is down to 5.7 and dropping. The only downside so far has been that I look like a flood victim in some of my clothes, but I'm going to wait before I get anything new.

I think there's a right way and wrong way to do some of these weight loss drugs. If you work out and eat well while on them I think they can be great. Poor diet and lack of exercise can burn you. You don't want to be the old person who can barely open the trunk of your car.
