Meshing with returning players and high expectations for certain players.

Throw the challenges of injuries, a weak schedule and some growing pains and things could have gone much differently today.

I love what I am seeing from KY and his team so far. Love the growth we are seeing on the defensive end. Love the improvements we’re seeing from Catchings and others. This team has a long ways to go to reach its potential, but it’s going to be really fun to watch them work through struggles and challenges and setbacks and overcome those and hopefully be at their best near seasons and have an opportunity to compete in the tournament.

I would say this team is ahead of schedule, but they have a long ways to go and I think they will get there.
