I got two that I’m very happy with.

First is a new Parker Jotter. Best cheap ballpoint out there. They’re good looking and tough everyday writers. Far from the nicest pen I’ve got but definitely the most used. My first gave up the ghost after 20+ years so I was glad to receive a replacement.

Second is a Meater thermometer. I love grilling and cast iron cooking but get pretty inconsistent along the rare to medium scale. This will help me nail the temp more frequently to get perfect steaks and roasts.
