Anyone here grow pomegranates? I planted a Wonderful variety last year,
it had a pretty normal flowering and fruit set… (I’m in Gilbert, AZ, zone 9b so it’s harvested anytime from Nov-Feb/Mar)

But I noticed around late November it started blooming again and putting on new fruit. All the late bloom fruit is pretty stunted in size and seems to stay green and/or split.

Is that normal or a sign of stress? Is there any benefit to keeping the dud fruit set on or should I pull them off and let the thing go dormant?
