I watched "The Man Who Invented Christmas" and saw myself played out in multiple
in multiple characters.

There are some moments in life that obligate me to self reflection. The reasons for it are too personal for me to write even in this, the best of all anonymous internet sites.

The short of it was that yesterday I felt like a fraud and a failure. Then this morning I woke up early with my 5 year old son and we watched the Mickey's Christmas Carol. My other younger kids gathered in to watch.

Then I turned on "The Man Who Invented Christmas" and I saw the turmoil they wrote for Dickens as he wrote it. I'm not sure how much was true to history, but I was able to see the hope to change and I see that I am changing over the years and faith that I can continue to change.

I recommend "The Man Who Invented Christmas" for inspiration and an uplifting message during this great time of year.
