Nice feedback from On3 on Xavion as being one of the Tarkanian Classic top performers. Someone from the BYU coaching staff was there (not sure who) as well:
Wednesday marked the first day of the High School Division of the 2024 Tarkanian Classic, the Prep Division ended Tuesday. Players were at their best as college coaches, NBA Scouts, and pre-approved media lined the courts.

4-Star C Xavion Staton (BYU) comes into this event with the reputation as one of the country’s premier rim protectors. And he showed that off immediately. With a BYU assistant coach in the stands, Staton stands 7-foot-0 tall with a plus wingspan. He plays wide and takes up a lot of space on the defensive end of the floor. Staton will need to continue adding more weight, and with that he will need to become more comfortable on the offensive end. Time and time again, he will get pushed off his spots or line up in a bad position where he is unable to create an advantage. Staton is a late bloomer, and there is a lot of continued growth necessary for him, however, each time he steps on the floor he shows that he has one tool he can consistent hang his hat on, and that is the rim protection.
