The NBA has a "loser" culture problem. In the NFL it's next man up. When I watch
the NFL I rarely wonder if the players are trying. When I watch the NBA I wonder how hard they are trying and if they are just there collecting a paycheck.
The players and teams embrace load management, tanking and "conserving energy on defense."
