Imagine if he had been able to play in those first 5 games at his current 87 ypg pace. It means his current yardage total would be 1228 yards with 3 games to go. Only Jamar Chase (Cincinnati) would have a slight edge on total yards. Pika would have 92 receptions at this point compared to Chase's 93 so it's clear these dudes along with Justin Jefferson at 1,170 yards are as of today, head and shoulders better than any other receivers in the league. What makes them all so good is they are versatile an tough. The will take short, intermediate and go routes, run them with precision, catch effectively in all three types of routes, even over the blind-side middle, and the make very few mistakes. They are big play and 1st down chain movers. Very few players can AND WILL do all of these things.
