Hey, dad. Can I go play with friends? Sure. But first I have a few jobs for you.
Instead of taking 10-20 minutes to do a few chores, they would rather spend 2 hours whining about how terrible it is. Then they finally get around to cleaning up. Meanwhile they lost 2+ hours complaining. Cracks me up.
