My wife and I feel like it's time to invest in a Nintendo Switch. We were going
to gift it to our kids for Christmas, but we are hearing rumors that a newer version is expected to release in the next few months. We are wondering if we should hold off to wait for the new version? Our kids are on the younger end (10 year old is the oldest), so they will mostly be playing mario-type games and we will have time limits so it won't be used extensively. We don't see the need for the extra storage or the better visuals (we don't even have a fancy tv so I'm sure it wouldn't make a huge difference.) Our only reason for waiting is that we are assuming as new games come out, they will only be available for the newer model. But maybe that doesn't matter for us? Would love to know thoughts of those in the know. Last game system I really played extensively was 64 so I'm way out of touch.
