My thoughts on last night's game:
1. Elijah Crawford cannot play in important games. I know this was not one of them, but as soon as he stepped on the floor the team fell apart.

2. I honestly don't know why Knell doesn't play more. He is easily the best shooter on the team, a solid defender (for this team he is well above average on that end of the court) and a space eater (others playing around him will have more space as you can't leave him). I would start him and play him 25 mins a game.

3. Hall easily played his best game of the year (yes he is shaking off some rust) and if you think not having Demin there wasn't a factor then you are not paying attention. Demin and Hall are not (to this point, maybe it will click at some point) really compatible yet on the court. I have posted before about the different ways they like to play. The team is better with 1 of them on the court at the same time.

4. Richie Saunders I still believe is this team's best player. Honestly I don't think it is particularly close.

5. Keita plays his role well as does Fouss. I wish they were melded together into one guy as that guy would be incredible.

6. Catchings is shooting 36/30/47. He is a good shooter. He needs to let the game come to him more and get to the basket more. Shooting contested 3's just because you can make them helps no one.

7. Baker is a wild card. I would space his minutes opposite of Knell as I think they are the two best raw shooters on the team.

8. Unfortunately we are seeing why Boskovic wasn't drafted when he wanted to go to the NBA. He has the size and athleticism, but just not the basketball feel yet. He shoots a lot of contested jumpers from the outside and isn't what I would call crafty in getting to the basket. He needs to work hard in the off-season to develop a drive/mid range game if he wants to get to the NBA. It is rare for a guy to have the size, athleticism and outside shot and not be ready. But I think that is where he is at.
